The mock neck is the point. Nothing to pull about when you lean over. The zip sits flat, the hip pockets hold a pen and a swab count card, and it has survived the theatre laundry twice a week.

Washed at 60° twice a week since July and the Ward blue has not faded or bobbled. The V sits right so you are not fiddling with it under a lanyard. Pocket actually holds a phone.

Ordered an L, needed an M. Printed the label, dropped it at the post office on my way in, the M arrived two days later. Four stars only because I wish the chest pocket was a touch deeper.

Fabric and fit are better than the clinic-issued set. The pen slot takes a biro but not the fat marker I use for lab slips. Theatre is a nice colour in daylight and slightly greyer under the surgery lights.

What sizes do SCRUBS Clothing scrubs come in?
- Every SCRUBS Clothing style comes in nine sizes from XXS to 4XL, in every colour. Trousers also come in three lengths: Petite with a 71 cm inseam, Regular at 78 cm and Tall at 85 cm. Tops and trousers run true to size; the Rounds oversized top is cut deliberately relaxed, so size down for a closer fit. Our size guide is measured in centimetres over underwear. If the size is wrong, swap it free in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
How do free size swaps work at SCRUBS Clothing?
- Every parcel to the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada includes a prepaid swap label. Choose the new size online, drop the parcel at the post office, and we dispatch the replacement the moment the label is scanned, before your return reaches us. Swaps are free with no limit on the number of swaps per order. Embroidered and personalised items are final sale and cannot be swapped or returned.
What fabric are SCRUBS Clothing scrubs made from?
- SCRUBS Clothing scrubs are made from a 195 gsm four-way stretch blend of 72% polyester, 21% rayon and 7% spandex. The fabric is anti-wrinkle, washes at 60°C, and is tested to two hundred washes without visible colour loss. It is a workwear fabric, not PPE: we make no antimicrobial or barrier claims, and the garments should not be relied on for fluid protection.
